We are pleased to announce the GIMM Fest Press Grant 2026, supporting up to five international journalists to attend GIMM Fest 2026.

Each grant covers travel expenses and accommodation, enabling selected journalists to take part in the full festival programme. Grant recipients will have the opportunity to engage directly with leading scientists, internationally recognised researchers, and key voices shaping the future of biomedical research and innovation.

How to apply

Applicants are invited to submit:

• A brief motivation letter (maximum one page), explaining their interest in attending GIMM Fest and the objectives they hope to achieve;
• Two to three examples of recent work in science, health, or biomedical journalism.

Deadline for applications: 14 May 2026
Selected candidates will be notified by: 28 May 2026

Applications will be reviewed by the GIMM Fest organising committee, based on the relevance of previous journalistic work, as well as the motivation and interest demonstrated in the application.
