Registration for the GIMM Festival 2026 opens on 6 February 2026 with early registration fees until 1 May 2026.
Registration closes on 10 September 2026.
The GIMM Festival 2026 will take place at Pavilhão de Portugal, Lisbon, on 17-19 September 2026.

Abstracts are invited for posters and 5-minute Micro-talks within one or more of the sessions themes
- Please note that you may register for the meeting, complete the payment, and submit your abstract either at the same time or separately, as long as all steps are completed within the respective deadlines.
- Your abstract should be submitted in the following format:
- a) Presenter full name as submitted in the registration form
- b) Presenter email address as submitted in registration form
- c) Abstract title (max. 20 words)
- d) Keywords (max. 5)
- e) Abstract body (max. 250 words)
- f) Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) as a list from first to last authot (please underline the presenter(s) name(s):
- First name, Last name, Affiliation
- First name, Last name, Affiliation
- During the registration process you will be asked to:
a) Indicate the category of your abstract
b) Indicate that you wish your abstract be also considered for a 5 min Micro-talk, in addition to a poster
c) Indicate that you wish to be considered for the GIMM Festival Travel Award (if eligible)
- The first deadline for abstract submission is 1 of May 2026 (for consideration for the travel award). The second deadline for abstract submission is 3 July 2026.
- Abstracts will be reviewed by our event Scientific Committee and results will be communicated by email on or before 14 May 2026 (Travel Award recipients) and 17 July 2026 (selected micro talks and posters).

Abstracts should be submitted by annexing a file during the registration process.
Upon communication of abstract acceptance:
Posters should be prepared as follows:
- A0 size, portrait (width x height: 841 x 1189 mm)
- You should print your poster and bring it with you to the event.
- You will be contacted in due course with the number of your poster.
